How to Properly Service a Muffler on 2006 Jeep Liberty?

It's important to raise the vehicle on a hoist before servicing the muffler. Malto the muffler and tailpipe assembly by removing both of the nuts that connect the exhaust pipe to the assembly. Lift out the muffler and tailpipe assembly using a suitable pry bar and then remove the setup from your vehicle. After installing, fit the muffler and tailpipe assembly into the vehicle under the exhaust hangers. Tighten the retaining bolts of the muffler and tailpipe assembly on the exhaust pipe to 32 Nm. After you are done, lower the car from the hoist.
