  A: You will find the EVAP canister by the left/rear spring perch close to the front of the fuel tank. To begin, raise the vehicle, take off the EVAP canister hoses and remember where they are connected. Then, take out the EVAP canister and mounting bracket assembly by undoing two screws holding them to the body and the bolt between them. Use the provided tool to move the two mounting pins off the mounting bracket. Fit the two canister mounting pins into the mounting bracket and put the bolt through the canister and mounting bracket. Fix the canister and bracket assembly to the body and use 48 N.m (35 ft. lbs.) torque to tighten the two mounting bracket bolts. Make sure the vapor/vacuum lines are installed correctly and screwed tightly in place, then check for damage or leaks at the NVLD pump, filter and EVAP canister purge solenoid, as a problem can generate a Diagnostic Trouble Code. After that, slowly lower the car.
