Service or repair the sway bar kit by disconnecting the bushings from the car relies first on disconnecting the link from the bar with the Remover MB-991113. Next, remove the front bumper valence and then deal with the sway bar retainer bolts to get rid of the retainers and the bar itself. Once cool, take off the bottom nuts and screws to break the links apart. Center the sway bar over the frame rails, add the retainers and bolts and make sure to tighten them to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.). Set the lower link bolts on the axle brackets and insert them into the end of the sway bar, then twist them tight by hand before tightening with a torque wrench to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). After that, place the upper link nuts and tighten them to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.), before putting back the bumper valence.
