How to Maintain and Fix a Drain Plug on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?

Before you work on the radiator drain plug, drain the cooling system. Never open the cylinder block plug or the radiator draincock when the system is hot and under pressure to avoid getting burnt by coolant. You should not use pliers on the draincock since it could damage it; use pliers to remove the draincock only if water is leaking. After that, move the draincock stem around 180 degrees in a counterclockwise direction to a 9:00 o'clock position and then pull the draincock assembly out of the radiator tank.
