How to Safely Service a Drain Plug on 2008 Chrysler Pacifica?

Before servicing the radiator drain plug, empty the cooling system. Do not unplug the cylinder block or open the radiator draincock when the engine is still warm or you may get seriously burned by the coolant. Always handle the draincock with care; use pliers only if it is leaking. Tilt the draincock stem to the left/counterclockwise 180 degrees to 9:00 o'clock and then take out the draincock assembly from the radiator tank.
