How to Install an EGR Valve on a 3.8L Engine on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?

Install the EGR valve by putting the new gasket on top, securing it to the valve with the 2 bolts. After that, install the EGR valve onto the cylinder head and hook up the EGR tube to the valve. Once those steps are complete, put in and secure the EGR tube bracket bolt. Open EGR valve bolts to the cylinder head to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.) and EGR tube to EGR valve bolts to 13 Nm (115 in. lbs.). In the end, join the electrical connector for the EGR valve and fasten it. Then connect the negative battery cable again.
