2006 Chrysler Pacifica EGR Valve Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain and Fix the EGR Valve on 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Please remove the negative battery cable, the positive cable and then take out the battery to service or repair your EGR valve. After that, take off and disconnect the electrical connecting wire from the EGR valve. Remove both of the EGR tube bolts, then remove the two mounting bolts for the valve and gasket. Put the two mounting bolts into both the EGR valve and gasket and loosely join the EGR valve to the cylinder head during installation. Attach the EGR tube to the EGR valve in a loose manner, then tighten the EGR upper tube to the bolts on the EGR valve to 11.3 N.m (100 in. lbs.) torque. Attach the electrical plug for the EGR valve, place the battery in its original spot and attach the positive battery terminal first and the negative one last.
