2007 Chrysler Pacifica Starter Motor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Starter Motor on a 3.8L Engine on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: You should start by taking out the negative battery cable to fix the starter motor of a 3.8L engine. After that, move the servo to a new area, unlock its connector and unlink the vacuum tube from the servo. After that, open and take out the connectors from the cooling module before unplugging the wiring clips from the same location. Get rid of the retaining clip from the top of the cooling module and remove the two screws to remove the fan module. Unbolt the oil cooler line bracket up front, where the motor mount is and take off the positive cable from the battery linked to the starter motor. With the cable off the starter, get rid of the lower, middle and upper starter bolts. Put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator core to safeguard it. Unplug the solenoid wire from the starter and then remove the starter from the inside of your vehicle. Lastly, pull off the starter dust shield from your car.
