Before starting the repair, first, take out the accessory drive belts and the splash shield from the lower part of the engine. After that, remove the crankshaft harmonic balancer bolt. After that, remove the harmonic balancer using Puller 1026 and Crankshaft Harmonic Balancer Removal Insert 6827A.
