How to Maintain and Fix a Starter Motor for a 2.0/2.4L Engine on 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Starting the process, first lift the hood and take off the air cleaner box lid. Following this, cut off and isolate the negative cable from the battery and lift up the vehicle on a hoist. Remove the Engine Structural Collar, come apart the wiring for the starter motor and get rid of the starter motor mounting bolts before you remove the starter motor.
