How to Install a Front Crankshaft Seal Using Seal Installer 9506 on 2007 Dodge Caliber?

Install seal 1 with the spring facing inside the engine to Seal installer 9506. Place the new seal between the front cover and the timing chain cover. Use Seal Installer 9506 to push the seal in, press hard enough to seat the Seal Installer against the surface of the timing chain cover. Once you've removed Seal installer 9506, fit the crankshaft vibration damper. Apply oil to the bolt threads and the region where the bolt head and washer meet and then attach the damper retaining bolt and damper holder 9707. Turn the bolt until it reaches 50 Nm + 68° (37 ft. lbs. + 68°).
