How to Safely Remove a Rear Brake Caliper on 2007 Dodge Caravan?

The first step is to press the brake pedal down by one inch, hold it using a special tool and then the brake fluid will not leak out of the reservoir. After that, lift the vehicle and remove its rear wheel and tire assembly. Separate the banjo bolt at the hose connection to the brake caliper, throwing out the two washers that come with it. Erase the small bolts that join the disc brake caliper to the adapter guide pin. After releasing the inside piston, turn the lower part of the caliper opposite its bolt to free the rear from the adapter. In order to pull off the brake rotor, start by undoing the retainer clips from the wheel studs and then drive the rotor straight off the studs.
