How to Replace the A/C Switch in the Rear Control Assembly on 2007 Dodge Caravan?

You need to disconnect and shield the negative battery cable if you want to change the rear A/C-heater control assembly. If you have the overhead rail version, use a trim stick C-4755 or a different one and gently remove the rear A/C-heater control housing from the overhead rails. When the assembly is out of the way, disconnect the wire harness connectors at the rear of the controller. After that, use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the three screws attaching the rear A/C-heater control and take out the control component. For the headliner mounted version, disconnect the negative battery cable before isolating it. Work the cover down gently by sliding the trim stick C-4755 or a similar tool under the rear top edge of the control bezel and flick the retaining clips free from the headliner. Gently push the rear of the headliner control bezel in to get it off the rear AC-heat control and then pull out any wiring plugs from the back of the bezel. Lastly, unscrew the three screws holding the rear A/C-heater control to the bezel and pull out the control.
