A: To service the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor on the 3.7L engine, it is in the water jacket in the front of the intake manifold behind the generator and to prevent injury from hot, pressurized coolant, partial drain the cooling system. Last, move on to remove the sensor from the intake manifold after removing the electrical connector from the sensor.
