  A: Putting in a new rubber grommet seal is the first step for installing your windshield washer pump. Insert the seal into the small washer pump hole that is on the side of the reservoir/coolant bottle closest to the windshield (1). Make sure the inlet nipple (3) from the washer pump/motor is right against the rubber grommet in the reservoir and push it down firmly so it locks into place. Press the top of the washer pump/motor housing into the molded area in the reservoir and hold it down until it snaps into place. Put together the washer hose (2) and attach the wire harness connector (4) to where it goes on the top side of the pump motor. Set the vehicle down, fill the washer reservoir with its old washer fluid and reconnect the battery negative cable.
