  • Q: How Is a Harmonic Balancer Installed on 2007 Dodge Dakota?
    A: To install the harmonic balancer, clean the bore and the nose of the crankshaft. Line up the balancer with the crankshaft key and slide it in place. Use Special Tool 8512-A to press it on the crankshaft then tighten the bolt to 175 Nm. Finally, install the radiator fan again and the accessory belt and reattach the battery.
