How to Remove and Replace a Front Brake Caliper on 2007 Dodge Nitro?

Before removing the front brake caliper, put a prop rod on the brake pedal to keep the brakes engaged. After that, hoist the car and lift the wheel and tire assembly out. Before installing a new caliper, remove the brake hose banjo bolt (2) and the two caliper mounting bolts (3). In the end, take the caliper (4) off the vehicle.
