How to Service a Cruise Control Switch on 2007 Dodge Nitro?

Before starting on your cruise control, turn the steering wheel so the tires are pointing in the right direction. Take out the negative battery terminal and switch off the ignition. Be careful when you take the air bag out, so that you do not face it down toward a hard surface and have it go off accidentally. Untie the connector from the Clock Spring and take out the three screws that hold the hinges. Take out the horn switch and then remove two screws if your speed control switch only has two or remove three screws if it has three. Lastly, unplug the panel's electrical connection and take out the switch.
