2007 Dodge Nitro Engine Mount Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install an Engine Mount for Manual and Automatic Transmissions on 2007 Dodge Nitro?
A: First, install the transmission mount to the transmission with bolts and then tighten them. After that, place the crossmember inside the vehicle and attach it with a through bolt and nut to the mount. After that, fasten the crossmember bolts to the sill and secure them with 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) torque. Once done, take out the transmission support, lower the car and then link the negative side of the battery cable. Start the installation by bolting the transmission mount to the transmission on an automatic car. Place the crossmember in the car and bolt it to the mount using a through bolt and nut. Take out the transmission support, lower the vehicle and attach one end of the negative wire to the battery.
