How to Service an Engine Mount on 2008 Dodge Nitro?

Start by detaching the negative cable from the vehicle's battery before anything else. It is necessary to remove the fan blade, fan clutch and fan shroud before starting the engine removal process. After that, remove the fan blade, fan clutch and fan shroud and then pull out the engine oil filter. First, put a suitably-sized jack under the engine and balance it with a wood block across the oil pan. Then, take out the four bolts holding the cylinder block to the insulator (5) and the nut from the insulator mount through bolt. Lastly, jack the engine up enough to reach the insulator mount thru bolt (2) and remove it, along with the insulator.
