How to Properly Install a Steering Wheel on 2007 Dodge Nitro?

When you install the steering wheel, then be sure that you use a new steering wheel bolt, not one that you have used and simply reinstalled. Then, install the steering wheel to the column, keeping the steering wheel mounting bolt tight to torque specification required for the best Clock Spring operation. Next, place the new steering wheel bolt and torque it to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). Next , install the driver side air bag.
