  • Q: How to Install a Tie Rod End on 2007 Dodge Nitro?
    A: Turn the outer tie rod end (1) the same number of times as when it was removed to install it on the inner tie rod end. Then, put the outer tie rod end (1) on the knuckle and tighten the nut (2) to 41 Nm (30 ft.lbs.) and add another 90° of tightening. After that, use the torque wrench to tighten the jam nut to 75 Nm (55 ft.lbs). Next, set the tires and wheels and at the end, adjust the toe and position the steering wheel in the center.
