How to Service and Repair a Rear Wiper Arm on 2007 Dodge Nitro?

The first step to servicing or repairing the rear wiper arm is to unsnap the molded plastic nut cover at the end of the pivot. Then, take out the nut that attachs the wiper arm to the rear wiper motor output shaft. You should not use a battery terminal puller when you remove the rear wiper arm, due to the risk of damage. Gently rock the wiper back and forth to pull the rear arm pivot away from the output shaft and take out the whole wiper arm assembly.
