• Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Washer Reservoir on 2007 Dodge Sprinter 2500?

  A: In order to service and repair the windshield washer reservoir, the battery negative cable should be disconnected and isolated. Drain the washer reservoir (2) into a clean container so that the washer fluid could be reused. Take out the washer level switch out of the washer reservoir. When so fitted, remove the headlamp washer system pump assembly through the outboard side of the washer reservoir. Take off the two (3) screws that hold the reservoir in place with the bracket (1) located on the top of the left front inner fender wheel house. Tip up the washer reservoir several inches so that it is possible to reach and withdraw the washer pump/motor assembly(s) which are the regular front and optional rear washer pump/motor assembly available on the inboard side of the reservoir. Unplug the standard front and optional rear washer supply hoses in the blended routing channels of the washer reservoir, and detach the washer reservoir far away the engine compartment.
