How to Install a Door Hinge on the Rear Door on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

When you install the rear door hinge, place it on the door so that if the epoxy bonded washers come out, an adjustment could be needed. If the washers are taken out, use epoxy to add the replaceable washers (1) and then install the nuts (4) loosely at this time. Using the notes you made during removal, place the hinges correctly on the door and tighten the nuts to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.). Put the rear door into position against the body and use a suitable lifting device to keep it there. Then connect the hinges to the pillar with five loose bolts. Line up the rear door with the car's body using the marks made while taking it out and tighten the bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Put the rear door wire harness into the body wire harness and connect the negative battery cable once again. Adjust the rear door when required.
