2007 Jeep Liberty Radiator Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How Can Proper Radiator Installation Prevent Overheating on 2007 Jeep Liberty?
A: After you disconnect the hoses, secure the rubber air seals from the radiator to the body and the radiator to the A/C condenser at the top, bottom and both sides to prevent overheating.. Carefully feed the upper corners of the radiator and fan shroud down into the vehicle and lower the dowels into the rubber grommets at the bottom of the radiator crossmember. Thread both upper and lower radiator hoses onto each other, securing them with clamps that show the tangs moving straight down. Run the coolant hose from the tank to the radiator and then bolt down the radiator on both sides. Join together the electrical fan, add the grille back on and then screw the fan into the engine. Check the area around the fan by turning the blades by hand, refill the cooling system, put on the battery, then run the engine and watch for leaks.
