How to Locate and Remove the Vapor Canister on 2007 Jeep Liberty?

Next to the left/rear spring perch and in front of the fuel tank is where the EVAP canister is and here you'll also find the ESIM switch. Set the vehicle up on jack stands, disconnect the vacuum lines from the EVAP canister and ESIM switch and notice where they are attached before you take them off. Following this, take out the electrical connector from the ESIM switch. Take out the EVAP canister mounting bolt and slide both canister mounting pins from the mounting bracket to remove the canister.
