  A: First, open the vehicle's window, to keep the passenger area from pressurizing, as slamming a door or swing gate too soon can result in water leaks after sealing the windshield. Wash off the old urethane and install spacers on the windshield studs or repair screws across the bottom of the opening. Slot the new windshield into place, placing it at the center using the support spacers, then mark the glass using a grease pencil or tape so you can find the correct position later. Place the windshield inside up on a work surface using two wood blocks, each 50 cm long and 10 by 10 cm square which are 75 cm apart. Use Mopar(R) Glass Cleaner and a clean cloth to clean the windshield, then apply clear glass primer about 25 mm wide along the edge and remove any extra with a dry, clean cloth. Then spread black-out primer 15 mm wide on the top and sides and 25 mm on the bottom and let it dry for at least three minutes.
