How to remove an A/C Accumulator on 2007 Jeep Patriot?

To eliminate the HVAC accumulator, disconnect the negative battery and recover refrigerant. Lift the car, take off the right front wheel and take off splash shield. Detach suction lines and take out accumulator in its bracket. Lastly, close the refrigerant line fittings and accumulator ports.
