2007 Jeep Wrangler Canister Purge Valve Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How is the Canister Purge Valve Installed and Where is it Located on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: The EVAP canister purge valve can be found by the battery. Install the quick-connect fittings on the valve and after that attach the electrical connector. Attach the valve assembly onto the bracket so that the connecting hoses and lines are properly installed. It's important to check the vapor/vacuum lines attached to the ESIM switch and filter for any issues or leaks. Having a leak in these lines can result in a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
