How to Service and Repair a Pitman Arm on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?

Make sure the vehicle is held with support and are raised up to service the Pitman Arm. After that, unscrew the bolt securing the track bar at the frame and take out the track bar. After that, remove the pitman arm nut from the drag link. Special tool 9360 is needed to take apart the pitman arm and the drag link. Afterward, take out the pitman arm nut and mark both the pitman shaft and the pitman arm to make sure you mount them in the proper direction. Once that's done, use 9615 to take the pitman arm from the gear and remove it from the unit.
