How to Service and Repair a Pitman Arm on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?

Begin by lifting and supporting the vehicle when you need to work on the Pitman Arm. Following this, remove bolt 2 that holds the track bar at the frame and lower bar 1. With the pitman arm nut off at drag link 3, use tool 9360 separator 2 to take the pitman arm 1 off of the drag link 3. After that, take out the pitman arm nut 3 and put a mark on both the pitman shaft and the pitman arm so you know where to install them. Remove the pitman arm from the gear using tool 9615 puller 1 and finally detach pitman arm 2.
