Q: How to Service and Repair a Tie Rod End on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Before servicing or repairing the tie rod end, put the assembly into the tube. Following this, attach the tie rod rod into the steering knuckle and tighten nut (3) on the steering knuckle until you achieve 85Nm (63 ft. lbs.). Place the tie rod clamp (2) and apply a torque of 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.). Then, fit the wheel and tire, bring the vehicle to the ground and align the wheel toe.
