  A: Before installing the harmonic balancer, wipe down the harmonic balancer bore and crankshaft nose completely to prevent harm. Push the harmonic balancer slot so its key fits into the crankshaft and then move the harmonic balancer onto the crankshaft slightly. Thread nut (2) onto the shaft, put roller bearing (1) onto the threaded rod (3) so the hardened surface faces the nut and place hardened washer (5) on the threaded rod. Break off the excess and spread an anti-seize product on the threaded rod's threads. Prime Special Tool 8512-A to the harmonic balancer and use it to press the harmonic balancer onto the crankshaft. After that, install and tighten the harmonic balancer bolt to 175 Nm (130 ft. lbs.). After that, mount the cooling fan unit, fit the radiator upper shroud with fasteners tightened to 11 Nm (95 in. lbs.) and join the wiring for the shroud fan. After that, install the upper hose for the radiator, put on the accessory drive belt, top up the cooling system and finally hook up the negative cable to the battery.
