2007 Chrysler Aspen Harmonic Balancer Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Harmonic Balancer and Crankshaft Pulley on 2007 Chrysler Aspen?
A: You should begin by disconnecting the battery's negative cable, then take off the accessory drive belt and let some of the coolant out from the cooling system. Following that, take out the upper radiator hose and remove the upper fan shroud. Releasing the fan and viscous assembly from the water pump using Special Tool 6958, remove the whole assembly from the car after loosening it. Disconnect the power connector running to the fan placed inside the radiator shroud and notice that the transmission cooler line snaps into the lower right part of the shroud panel. With the destroyer nut removed, take out the crankshaft harmonic balancer bolt and then use Special Tools 8513 Insert and 1026 Three Jaw Puller to remove the crankshaft harmonic balancer rotor.
