You should start by removing the negative battery terminal and removing the refrigerant within the refrigerant system when servicing the HVAC suction line. After that, take out the retainer nut from the expansion valve and remove both the suction line and the liquid line from the stud and clip. Raise up the car and support it well, remove the bolts from the compressor and take out the suction line after that. Once done, take the suction line assembly out of the vehicle.
