2008 Chrysler Crossfire ABS Control Module Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Remove the ABS Control Module on 2008 Chrysler Crossfire?
A: First, detach the negative battery cable and then clean the top area of your Hydraulic Control Unit before replacing the Electronic Brake Control Module. Mark where the hydraulic brake lines are connected to the HCU so you can easily put them back in place before you remove the lines (1-6) from the HCU and cap each one with a plug. After that, take off the Controller Antilock Brake (CAB) harness connector. Remove the ICU retaining screws and, while doing so, push the hydraulic brake lines on both sides. In the last step, loosen and remove the retaining screws connecting the CAB to the HCU and carefully take the CAB apart from the HCU.
