2008 Chrysler Crossfire Brake Disc Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Replace a Brake Disc on the Rear on 2008 Chrysler Crossfire?
A: First, place the rotor onto the wheel hub before you extract the old rotor. After that, secure the rotor by tightening the retaining bolt to 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.). After that, join the caliper assembly to the rotor and tighten the caliper mounting bolts to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.). After that, secure the wheel and tire assembly into place. Do not rely on the handbrake initially, as the vehicle must not move once you've applied a firm brake pedal. Raise your car to operating height after brakes are properly seated.
