2007 Chrysler Crossfire ABS Control Module Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove the ABS Control Module on 2007 Chrysler Crossfire?
A: The first step to remove the Electronic Brake Control Module is to disconnect the negative battery cable and wipe the top of the Hydraulic Control Unit close to the hydraulic lines. Before beginning to disconnect, mark each hydraulic brake line and its related connection on the HCU so it's easier to put them back together. Following this, pull out the hydraulic lines 1-6 from the HCU and close each hydraulic connection and line with a plug. Unextend the first harness of the Controller Antilock Brake (CAB) and then remove the two retaining screws from the Integrated Control Unit (ICU) retaining bracket. Simultaneously raise the ICU and gently move the hydraulic brake lines to one side. Carve off the excess solder from the section of the board where the CAB meets the HCU and then extract the four retaining screws.
