How to Detach a Wiper Arm on 2008 Chrysler Crossfire?

Always remove the ignition key before you try to take the wiper arm off to avoid damage to yourself from the wiper system. Open the hood and pull out the hood prop as far as you can. Raise the wiper arm above its resting spot and once it's in its high position, remove the plastic cap covering the screw at the wiper pivot. Subsequently, unfasten the nut that's holding the wiper arm to the wiper pivot shaft. Using a proper battery terminal puller, release the wiper arm from the tapered splines on the wiper pivot shaft to avoid corroded parts. When you are done, take the wiper arm pivot end off the wiper pivot shaft.
