How to Service the Cigarette Lighter on 2008 Chrysler Pacifica?

To access the Auxiliary Cigarette Lighter, you should unhook and disconnect the negative battery cable at the first step. After that, determine where the retaining bosses are mounted inside the case. With special tool 9857 Cigarette Lighter Remover, insert the tool into the boss to unscrew it and take it out. Rock the handles of the pliers back and forth to get the base out through the mounting ring. Next, remove the base wires, set the base aside and remove the mount ring.
