To remove the left multi-function switch, disconnect the battery negative cable, and then remove the steering column shrouds. Disconnect the wire harness and unscrew the switch from the cable, and remove it. Make sure that the steering wheel is straight and then remove the clock spring and both multi-function switches before removing the mounting housing.
