How to Service and Repair a Dimmer Switch on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?

Disconnect and separate the negative battery cable before dealing with the left multi-function switch. Disconnect the lower and upper covering around the steering column and then remove the instrument panel wire harness connector from the switch. Then, remove the two screws under the left multi-function switch (5) and move the switch out of both the column and the vehicle. Ensure you turn the steering wheel fully to straighten the front wheels before you begin the multi-function switch mounting housing. Take out the battery negative cable, follow that by removing the clock spring from the multi-function switch housing. Take out the left switch from the outer housing first, then remove the right switch by the same method. Remove the last screw (2) holding the multi-function switch mounting housing (3) to the steering column and then remove the multi-function switch housing (3).
