How to Maintain the Thermostat on a 3.8L Engine on 2008 Chrysler Pacifica?

Before servicing the engine coolant thermostat, first lower your vehicle so that the old coolant falls below and clears the thermostat site. Following this, you should disconnect the radiator upper hose from the outlet, then take off the connecting bolts and remove the connector itself too. After that, remove the thermostat from the outlet, remove the old gasket and scrub the two gasket sealing surfaces clean.
