How to Service and Repair a Throttle Body on a 3.8L Engine on 2008 Chrysler Pacifica?

To work on the throttle body of a 3.8L engine, first unhook and isolate the negative battery cable. Also, disconnect the throttle body electrical cable (3) and take out the throttle body air intake hose. Take out the four bolts (4) holding the throttle body (1) to the intake manifold (2) and then separate them. Be sure to examine the intake manifold to throttle body gasket (2) for possible damage and if the j-nuts show excessive wear or damage, change them. Also, look at the four j-nuts (1) and remove them if you find any damage or excessive wear.
