How to Install a Door Hinge on the Rear Door on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

If you are changing both hinges on one door, install one hinge completely before dealing with the other. Be sure not to coat the door hinges with oil. If you like, paint the door hinge before it is mounted. Install the door hinge on the vehicle and put in the lower B-pillar and door end frame bolts only partially. Make the hinge fit against the previous marks and tighten all the bolts. Test how the door is built and how it opens and closes, making changes to the door hinge if it is crooked. Put in the B-pillar lower trim panel at this point.
