To service the auxiliary cigarette lighter, disconnect the battery negative cable. Use snap ring pliers to remove the base from the mounting ring. Disconnect the base wires and remove the base mount ring. If the instrument panel cigar lighter is defective, replace the entire accessory switch bezel.
