How to Maintain and Fix the Hood Cable on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

You should start by taking off the grille to service and repair the hood cable. After that, pull the hood latch open and remove the cable from it. Peel away the trim panel off the side of the cowl panel facing the driver. After that, drive out the two screws that hold the hood release cable assembly to the cowl panel. Once that's finished, take the rubber grommet out of the dash panel. After that, direct the hood cable through the surface of the dash panel and get the hood release cable assembly out of the car.
