How to Maintain and Fix the Hood Cable on 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

First, remove the grille, then unhook the hood latch and then disconnect the hood cable from it to service and repair the cable. After that, remove the trim panel from the driver side cowl panel. Take out the two screws holding the hood release cable to the cowl panel and then remove the rubber grommet from the dash. Lastly, draw the hood cable out of the dash hole and take the hood release cable system off the automobile.
