How to Install an HVAC Pressure Switch on an A/C Compressor on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Before fitting the Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch, clean away any dirt in the switch mounting bore at the rear of the HVAC compressor. Apply clean refrigerant oil to a new rubber O-ring seal and install it on HVAC pressure switch 2 using the special material O-ring made for R-134a and the recommended HVAC compressor oil. Then, put the HVAC pressure switch onto the back of the HVAC compressor. Since the HVAC pressure switch is meant to fit R134a refrigerant, put in place the snap ring from Special Tool C-4574 or the same. Place connector 1 on the HVAC pressure switch, bring down the vehicle and secure the negative battery cable again. You must then empty the refrigerant system and afterwards refill it with refrigerant.
